Overview

JNJ-26990990 is a broad-spectrum antiepileptic agent with oral activity. JNJ-26990990 can inhibit voltage-gated Na + channels and N-type Ca 2+ channels , but has a very weak inhibitory effect on human carbonic anhydrase-II ( IC 50 = 110 μM).
