(S)-α-Methylbenzyl ricinoleamide

Overview

(S)-α-Methylbenzyl ricinoleamide (compound (R,S)-3d) is a fatty acid amide. (S)-α-Methylbenzyl ricinoleamide shows antiproliferative activity, inhibits the growth of human ovarian cancer cells NCI-ADR/RES and glioma cells U251 with GI 50 s of 1.9 μg/mL and 3.6 μg/mL, respectively.
