AM-6494

Overview

AM-6494 is a potent and orally active BACE1 (efficacious β-site amyloid precursor protein cleaving enzyme 1) inhibitor ( IC 50 =0.4 nM) with in vivo selectivity over BACE2 ( IC 50 =18.6 nM). AM-6494 is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
