TOFA-Plasmalogen (compound 1) is a glyceraldehyde derivative with ferroptosis -inducing activity. TOFA-Plasmalogen causes cytotoxicity by promoting lipid peroxidation on cell membranes ( IC 50 =32.87 μM).
