Overview

5-HT2C agonist-11 (Compound 1) is an orally active, brain-penetrant and selective 5-HT 2C receptor agonist ( EC 50 =15 nM). 5-HT2C agonist-11 activates the Gq protein signaling pathway, promoting intracellular calcium release. 5-HT2C agonist-11 is promising for research of depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and neuropathic pain.
