Actinidioionoside (Compound 2) is a megastigmane glucoside compound found in Borago officinalis L . Actinidioionoside has DPPH free radical scavenging activity ( IC 50 : 41.3 μM). Actinidioionoside has no significant cytotoxicity against A549 human lung cancer cells ( IC 50 > 100 μM). Actinidioionoside can be used in antioxidant studies.
