1-Methyl-2-undecyl-4(1H)-quinolone is a potent, irreversible and selective inhibitor of type B monoamine oxidase ( MAO-B ). 1-Methyl-2-undecyl-4(1H)-quinolone shows a selective inhibition of MAO-B activity with the IC 50 and K i values of 15.3 μM and 9.91 μM, respectively, but did not inhibit type A MAO ( MAO-A ) activity.
