Palmostatin M is a Ras signaling modulator that targets acyl-protein thioesterase 1 ( APT1 ) and 2 ( APT2 ) in cells, with an IC 50 of 2.5 nM for APT1 . Palmostatin M interferes with the depalmitoylation cycle of Ras and downregulates the overall Ras signaling pathway. Palmostatin M can be used in cancer-related research.
