Overview

IGN-2098 is an orally active, competitive histamine H 2 receptor antagonist with a pA 2 value of 7.32. IGN-2098 inhibits basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion. IGN-2098 accelerates ulcer healing, suppresses ulcer edge elevation, and protects gastric and duodenal mucosa from damage. IGN-2098 can be used in research related to gastric ulcers.
