10-Nitrocamptothecin is a topoisomerase I inhibitor with an IC 50 of 0.64 μM. 10-Nitrocamptothecin interferes with the formation of cleavable complexes, thereby inhibiting the activity of Topoisomerase I. 10-Nitrocamptothecin is applicable for cancer research.
