Overview

(trans)-m-Cl-PCA hydrochloride is a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, with an IC 50 of 0.55 μM against rat MAO-A and an IC 50 of 0.63 μM against MAO-B . (trans)-m-Cl-PCA hydrochloride inhibits the activities of MAO-A and MAO-B in rat brain mitochondria. (trans)-m-Cl-PCA hydrochloride can be used for the research of neurological disorders.
