(+)-Eseroline

Overview

(+)-Eseroline is an opioid agonist and adenylate cyclase inhibitor ( K i =6-8 μM). (+)-Eseroline binds specifically to μ-opioid receptor s and δ-opioid receptors on rat brain cell membranes ( K a =0.7 μM). (+)-Eseroline exhibits only weak activity in various mouse analgesic models and can be used for studies on pain-related mechanisms.
