Overview

Avocadyne is an orally active mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation ( FAO ) inhibitor. Avocadyne induces leukemia cell death and reverses diet-induced obesity. Avocadyne inhibits fatty acid oxidation activity in leukemia cells . Avocadyne can be used in studies related to leukemia and obesity.
