Overview

RS 39604 is a potent, selective, and orally active 5-HT 4 receptor antagonist with a pK i of 9.1 in guinea pig striatal membranes. RS 39604 displays a low affinity (pK i <6.5) for 5-HT 1A , 5-HT 2C , 5-HT 3 , α 1c , D 1 , D 2 , M 1 , M 2 , AT 1 , B 1 and opioid mu receptors and moderate affinity for δ 1 , (pK i =6.8) and δ 2 (pK i =7.8) sites.
