Gavestinel (GV 150526A) is a potent, selective, orally active and non-competitive antagonist of NMDA receptor . Gavestinel binds to the glycine site of the NMDA receptor , with a pK i of 8.5. Gavestinel can be used for the research of acute ischemic stroke.
