Overview

Acetylaszonalenin, a prenylated indole derivative, is a fungal metabolite.Acetylaszonalenin is a potent neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist. Acetylaszonalenin shows inhibition of [ 3 H]-SP binding to human astrocytoma cells with a K i of 170 μM.
