Quinolinic acid - 13 C 3 , 15 N (2,3-Pyridinedicarboxylic Acid- 13 C 3 , 15 N) is the 13 C- and 15 N-labeled Quinolinic acid ( HY-100807 ). Quinolinic acid is an endogenous N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor agonist synthesized from L-tryptophan via the kynurenine pathway and thereby has the potential of mediating N-methyl-D-aspartate neuronal damage and dysfunction.
