Overview

(−)-Epicatechin is a 2R,3R stereoisomer of catechin and is a naturally occurring flavanol. It is a powerful antioxidant and could inhibit cyclooxygenase. L-Epicatechin is a natural compound found in the woods of Acacia catechu (L.F.) Willd, it can be used in cosmetics material.
