Overview

Dorzolamide hydrochloride is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It is an anti-glaucoma agent and topically applied in the form of eye drops. Dorzolamide hydrochloride is used to lower increased intraocular pressure in open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
