FK866

Overview

FK866 is a non-competitive inhibitor of nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (Nampt) with potential antineoplastic and antiangiogenic activities. FK866 binds to Nampt to suppress the biosynthesis of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), leading to tumor cell apoptosis.
