Azilsartan medoxomil

Overview

Azilsartan Medoxomil is a potent angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptor antagonist that inhibits the RAAS, with an IC50 of 2.6 nM. It exhibits more than 10,000-fold selectivity over AT2. Azilsartan Medoxomil can be used for the treatment of mild to moderate essential hypertension.
