Fluretofen

Overview

Fluretofen (LY 93819) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) compound. Fluretofen is efficiently converted into an active arylacetic acid metabolite in vivo, and blocks prostaglandin biosynthesis by inhibiting cyclooxygenase ( COX ), which is commonly used in pharmacological research related to inflammation and pain.
