Overview

Benzoyl leucomethylene blue is a sensitive colorimetric reagent for detecting organic peroxides. Benzoyl leucomethylene blue reacts with organic peroxides and hydroperoxides, or undergoes oxidation upon exposure to ultraviolet light, artificial light or heating, to form methylene blue.
