Aminopyridine 2 is an irreversible, selective, and orally active myeloperoxidase ( MPO ) inhibitor, with an IC 50 of 0.16 μM and a K i of 24 μM against human MPO . Aminopyridine 2 is applicable to research on chronic inflammatory diseases.
