XuBP

Overview

XuBP is a Rubisco inhibitor with a K i of approximately 1.3 µM. XuBP binds to uncarbamylated Rubisco to form an inactive complex. XuBP acts as a substrate for Rubisco and undergoes a slow carboxylation reaction to produce two molecules of 3-phosphoglycerate.
