Schizotenuin A

Overview

Schizotenuin A is a Aβ and hIAPP fibrillation inhibitor with human-derived IC 50 values of 2.93 µM and 0.58 µM, respectively, and exhibits antioxidant activity. Schizotenuin A scavenges DPPH free radicals and inhibits lipid peroxidation in rat liver microsomes. Schizotenuin A can be used in research related to Alzheimer's disease and type 2 diabetes.
