MODENS BR

Overview

Introduction MODENS BR is a sterically hindered polar modifier used during the production of s-SBR (solution Styrene Butadiene Rubber) to control and obtain a narrow molecular weight distribution. MODENS BR is usually used at a temperature above 80°C with alkyl lithium initiator in a hydrocarbon solvent such as hexane. s-SBR applies to meet or exceed the tire labeling requirements about fuel efficiency, safety and noise for cars and lightweight vehicles thanks to its low rolling resistance, high traction duringbraking and low abrasion.
