Benzyl-PEG5-bromide

Overview

Benzyl-PEG5-bromide is a PEG linker consisting of a benzyl protecting group, which can be deprotected under hydrogenation catalytic conditions. The bromide (Br) is a very good leaving group for nucleophilic substitution reactions (e.g., thiol, amine). The hydrophilic PEG linker enhances the aqueous solubility.
