Overview

Iodo-PEG3-alcohol is a PEG linker containing an iodine group and a terminal hydroxyl group. The hydrophilic PEG spacer bolsters solubility in aqueous media. The iodide (I) is a very good leaving group for nucleophilic substitution reactions. The hydroxyl group enables further derivatization or replacement with other reactive functional groups.
