Overview

Acid-PEG3-mono-methyl ester serves a PEG linker including a methyl ester which can be hydrolyzed under strong basic conditions and a carboxylic terminal that can react with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC or HATU). Solubility in aqueous media is enhanced via the PEG3 chain.
