Overview

Acid-PEG5-mono-methyl ester functions as a PEG linker with a methyl ester that can be hydrolyzed under strong basic conditions and a carboxylic terminal that can react with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC or HATU). Water solubility is elevated via the PEG5 linker.
