Overview

YK-009 is an ionizable lipid with a pKa of 6.51. It has been utilized alongside other lipids to create lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). When SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant mRNA is administered within YK-009-containing LNPs, it stimulates the production of IgG antibodies that specifically bind to the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the virus.
