Fmoc-NMe-PEG4-NHS ester

Overview

Fmoc-N-methyl-PEG4-NHS ester is a PEGylated linker with an Fmoc-protected amine and NHS ester. The PEG4 spacer boosts water solubility, while the Fmoc group protects the amine and can be removed under basic conditions to reveal a free amine for further conjugations. The NHS ester efficiently labels primary amines (-NH2) in proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing biomolecules.
