16:0-a15:0 PC

Overview

16:0-a15:0 PC is a synthetic, non-natural peptide that belongs to the class of activator peptides. It was designed to mimic the structure of naturally occurring ligands for G protein coupled receptors. 16:0-A15:0 Pc has been shown to activate ion channels and inhibit ligand binding, as well as bind to antibodies and activate cell signaling pathways. This peptide also inhibits the activity of receptor tyrosine kinases such as EGFR and PDGFR in vitro. 16:0-A15:0 Pc has been shown to be useful in research into the function of ion channels and cell signaling pathways, as well as in the study of receptor tyrosine kinases.
