Alkyne-PEG3-iodide

Overview

Alkyne-PEG3-iodide is a crosslinker containing a propargyl group and an iodine group. The propargyl group can form triazole linkage with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules via copper catalyzed Click Chemistry reactions. Iodine (I) is a very good leaving group for nucleophilic substitution reactions. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
