Overview

1,2-Didecanoyl-sn-glycerol is a diacylglycerol that contains decanoic acid at the sn-1 and sn-2 positions. It is an analog of the PKC-activating second messenger diacylglycerol (DAG). The hydroxyl group enables further derivatization or replacement with other reactive functional groups.
