5-Iodo Uridine

Overview

5-Iodouridine is an iodine-containing pyrimidine nucleoside analog. 5-Iodouridine inhibits dihydroorotase with a K i value of 340 µM. 5-Iodouridine significantly enhances the cell-killing effect of gamma irradiation. 5-Iodouridine can be used in the research of HSV-1 infection and leukemia.
