Overview

AMCA Acid is a fluroescent agent with a terminal carboxylic acid group. AMCA Acid is a popular blue fluorescent tagging molecule that has a maximal absorption of 345 nm and emission at 450 nm. The terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amine groups of activated NHS ester to form a stable amide bond.
