Overview

N-Biotinyl-1,6-hexanediamine includes a terminal amine group which may be conjugated for further derivatization and an extended spacer arm to reduce steric hindrance. This biotin compound, with its uncharged, simple alkyl-chain spacer arm, is membrane-permeable and may be used for intracellular labeling.
