Overview

L-656224 is an orally active, potent and selective inhibitor of leukotriene biosynthesis in intact rat and human leukocytes and CXBG mastocytoma cells ( IC 50 values, 18-240 nM) and of human leukocyte and porcine leukocyte 5-lipoxygenase ( IC 50 , 4 x 10 -7 M). L-656224 is promising for research of asthma and peripheral analgesic agents.
