Overview

3-Methyl-GABA is a potent GABA aminotransferase activator. 3-Methyl-GABA can fit the binding pocket of GABA A receptor (GABAaR). 3-Methyl-GABA can activate L-glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD). 3-Methyl-GABA has anticonvulsant activity.
