Overview

(R)-Bromoenol lactone ((R)-BEL) is an irreversible, chiral, mechanism-based inhibitor of calcium-independent phospholipase γ (iPLA2γ) . (R)-BEL inhibits human recombinant iPLA2γ with an IC 50 of approximately 0.6 µM.
