Aminoethyl-SS-propionic acid

Overview

Aminoethyl-SS-propionic acid is a cleavable compound containing a terminal amine and carboxylic acid group. The disulfide bonds can be cleaved using Dithiothreitol (DTT) reagent. The terminal amine can be reacted with carboxylic acid, activated NHS esters and other carbonyl compounds. The terminal carboxylic acid can be reacted with primary amines in the presence of activators such as EDC and HATU to form a stable amide bond. Please contact us for GMP-grade inquiries.
