Bactobolin hydrochloride

Overview

Bactobolin hydrochloride (Compound 1) is an antibiotic , which inhibits Escherichia coli , Salmonella , Shigella , Staphylococcus and Bacillus subtilis , with MIC s of 0.3-6.25 μg/mL. Bactobolin hydrochloride exhibits antitumor efficacy against leukemia, with a LD 50 value of 6.25-12.5 mg/kg.
