Overview

SCH-43478 is a non-nucleoside antiviral agent. SCH-43478 shows potent and selective activity against herpes simplex virus type 2 ( HSV-2 ) with an IC 50 of 1.8 μg/mL using Vero cells. SCH-43478 demonstrates significant efficacy in the guinea pig genital model of HSV infection .
