DS42450411 is an orally active hepcidin production inhibitor with an IC 50 of 32 nM. DS42450411 in an acute inflammatory mouse model induced by IL-6 , DS42450411 significantly reduces serum hepcidin levels. DS42450411 can be used for studying iron homeostasis.
