Quisqualic acid

Overview

Quisqualic acid (L-Quisqualic acid), a natural analog of glutamate, is a potent and pan two subsets ( iGluR and mGluR ) of excitatory amino acid (EAA) agonist with an EC 50 of 45 nM and a K i of 10 nM for mGluR1R. Quisqualic acid is isolated from the fruits of Quisqualis indica .
