Overview

Atelopidtoxin (zetekitoxin) is a toxin (LD 50 =0.016 mg/kg for mice), which can be isolated from Panamanian frog Atelopus zeteki . Atelopidtoxin causes hypotension and ventricular fibrillation in rabbits. Atelopidtoxin an inhibitor for sodium channel .
