Phe-Lys(Trt)-PAB acts as a lysosomally cleavable substrate for cysteine protease cathepsin B , with cleavage enabling linked anticancer drug release via self-immolative spacer . Phe-Lys(Trt)-PAB can be used for synthesis of ADCs.
