Butopamine

Overview

Butopamine is the active R/R stereoisomer butapamine of ractopamine hydrochloride. Butopamine exerts its physiological effects by stimulating β 1 -adrenergic receptor ( β 1 AR ) and β 2 -adrenergic receptor ( β 2 AR ) expressed in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue.
